How to Work with Dr. Perri

Updated 5/6/26

I created this page to inform you of my communication preferences and to answer frequently asked questions. Additionally, this page enables me to reserve energy to engage in cognitive effort and interpersonal connection during our sessions.

Email and Text-based responses

I prioritize verbal communication and prefer to meet during scheduled sessions. Therefore, when you email or text me, my response will be brief: one word or an emoji. If you want more of a response from me, please schedule a session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new supervisees or consultees?

It's less about "accepting new folks" and more about "how will we work together". Please read through Part 1 of my website. Take some time to reflect. If you still want to work together, then let's meet for an introductory session (just schedule it).

Can you provide a letter of recommendation or reference for me?

I really wish I could but I really struggle to do these. If the person is willing to do a phone call reference, then yes, I can do it. But if it's an online form or an email, I can't.

I'd like to schedule a meeting with you.
